Big one to start: Gastown's Sunday Set starts this weekend. Water Street goes car-free every Sunday from July 5 to September 6. Live DJs, street markets, pop-up patios, 12 to 8 PM. Car-free streets with a stroller. That's it. That's the sell. And it runs all summer, so no rush if this Sunday doesn't work.
But that's not even the best part of this weekend.
The Weather: ☀️ Friday has a small shower chance (mix of sun and cloud, high 21°C), but Saturday and Sunday look great. Sunny, highs around 21–23°C. Sunscreen, hats, water bottles.
Friday: 🌊 Kits Point Patio Party (three museum patios, one free waterfront evening)
Saturday/Sunday: 🇹🇼 Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival (free admission, Taiwanese street food, puppet shows, and dancing at the Art Gallery plaza)
Sunday: 🎭 TUTS preview nights begin (Little Mermaid under the actual stars)
