Marathon weekend is here, which means two things: half the city is running through our neighbourhood, and the other half is frantically googling which roads are closed. (Spoiler: a lot of them. Especially Sunday morning on Cambie between King Ed and 41st.) Check the full road closure map before you leave the house — especially if you're heading anywhere near Hillcrest, Oakridge, or downtown on Sunday.
The good news? The actual weekend options are excellent.
The Weather: ☀️ Saturday is sunny to partly cloudy and warm — highs near 23°C, possibly flirting with a record. Sunday stays warm (around 25°C) but mostly cloudy. No rain either day. Layer light and bring hats.
