Hi friends!
Many of you already know our 5-year-old has been homeschooled. Not because we thought we could teach her better, or that she'd learn more at home. But because every place we visited wanted to trade something we weren't willing to give up: her independence. Her curiosity. The way she loses herself in a project for two hours and comes out glowing.
We found a model that would keep all of that alive. But there wasn't one in Vancouver. We waited, hoping someone would open one.
No one did… So we did. More on that below — especially if there's a 5-to-7-year-old in your house.
